Girl Rising Film Premieres in Atlanta
Sustenance Group worked with CARE to present the Atlanta premiere of the 10x10 film, Girl Rising, on May 13, 2013. The event featured a screening at Midtown Landmark Cinemas and a panel discussion with film producer Martha Adams, Coca-Cola VP Lisa Borders and CARE's Helene Gayle. Present for the event were Sustenance Group members Nancy Bauer and Kristi York Wooten as well as CARE state co-chairs, Janis Sundquist and Amy Kelly, plus singer/activist Yewande Austin. The event was covered in Atlanta Magazine and on CNN.
