
CARE Brings Atlanta to the World
CARE held its board meeting in Atlanta on December 9, and celebrated with an evening event at the Center for Civil and Human Rights. CEO Helene Gayle hosted a panel about the impact of visiting CARE's programs in Peru, Nepal and Tanzania. International Day of the Girl 2013
To honor and commemorate the International Day of the Girl, CARE, an Atlanta based humanitarian organization dedicated to fighting global poverty, held a celebration of art made by girls from around the world. The exhibition, dubbed "Through the Eyes of a Girl International Art Exhibit" was held Friday evening at the Mason Maurer Fine Art Gallery. A Plea for Funds to Support Syrian Refugees
CARE is raising $50 million to provide support for the estimated 7 million Syrians displaced by the civil war.
