Sustenance Group: Nancy Bauer Joins “Team Red” at 50 Cents Period
Sustenance Group Founding Principle Nancy Bauer announced a partnership between Mango Tree Foundation and 50 Cents Period to support its Women’s Circle program (which provides sanitary supplies to women, and identifies and trains community health workers in Southeast Asia. For girls in developing countries who miss a week of school each month during menstruation, 50 cents buys a month of sanitary supplies and an uninterrupted education. 50 Cents Period represents a worldwide network of women dedicated to creating more options for girls by providing supplies, facilities and education related to menstruation. The solution is simple; the impact lasts a lifetime. Nancy will be working to find sustainable avenues for existing programs, assisting with field duties abroad and helping our refugee sisters through the Women’s Circle.
